Every men's haircut at Brute starts with a consultation. We talk about your hair type, lifestyle, and how much maintenance you're willing to do at home. Then we work — scissors, clippers, or a combination — finishing with a wash, blow-dry, and styling product.
The cut includes: consultation · shampoo wash · cut (scissors and/or clippers) · blow-dry · styling · neck cleanup with a straight razor. No hidden add-ons.
Haircuts are performed by experienced barbers who work exclusively with men. We don't do women's cuts — this means all of our expertise, all of our products, and all of our time goes toward getting men's hair right.
Popular styles we do well
Fade & Taper
Skin fade, low fade, mid fade, high fade — clean gradient from zero to your preferred top length. One of our most-booked cuts.
Classic & Ivy League
Side part, Ivy League, pompadour — timeless shapes cut with scissors for a clean, professional finish that works in any setting.
Textured & Modern
Crop top, French crop, textured quiff — contemporary cuts with deliberate texture built in. Works especially well for thick or wavy hair.
Long & Mid-Length
Shape cuts, curtain hair, flow cuts — we work with longer men's hair including reshaping, thinning, and keeping weight and movement balanced.
Buzz Cut & Short
Clean uniform length with defined shape. Simple, low-maintenance, always sharp. We also do head shaves with a straight razor if you're going all the way.
Scissor-Only
For clients who prefer no clippers at all — a full scissor cut with precision point-cutting and texturizing. Takes a little longer, but worth it for the right hair type.
Why clients come back to Brute
- ✓ English-friendly environment. All our barbers communicate in English — no pointing at pictures required (though you're welcome to bring a reference photo).
- ✓ No rush. We don't double-book time slots. Your appointment is yours for the full duration — we're not thinking about the next client while working on you.
- ✓ Honest consultation. If a style won't work for your hair type, we'll tell you — and suggest something that will. No upselling services you don't need.
- ✓ Premium location. We're in Vyšehrad — a quiet neighborhood two stops from Náměstí Míru and Palackeho Náměstí. Easy to reach, easy to park.
- ✓ Add beard service if you need it. Beard trim and shave can be combined in one appointment — saves time and comes with a price advantage.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you speak English at Barbershop Brute?
Yes. English is no problem — all consultations, booking questions, and communication can be done in English. We also have expat clients who've been coming for years and never needed Czech.
How much does a men's haircut cost in Prague?
At Barbershop Brute, haircuts start at 800 CZK (approximately 32 EUR). This includes wash, cut, blow-dry, and styling. Price may vary slightly depending on hair length and complexity. We don't charge extra for thick hair, long hair, or difficult texture.
Do I need to book in advance?
We strongly recommend booking online — especially on weekdays after 4pm and Saturdays. Walk-ins are sometimes possible but not guaranteed. Booking takes less than 2 minutes via our online system.
Can I get a haircut and beard trim in one visit?
Yes — it's one of our most popular combinations. Book the Combo Haircut + Beard service for a better price than booking separately. The full session takes 60–75 minutes.
